Movement of oral expression democratized of poesy
: to listen, to look, to read, to write, to participate.

   Slam has a popular passion in the U.S at the beginning of the eighties and storms now all the world. A real innovative form of expression, it takes nevertheless root in the past by the "griots" and the sparring match of the 17th century.It does some poesy a real spectacle and interactive.It is an artistic, cultural and social movement, accentuated by the wish to make creation and expression of poesy accessible for everyone.
     In France, since 1995, each opened scene is an occasion to celebrate the poesy. Each poet can participate to the event. A huge wealth and a lot of poetic surprises can be discovered on every slam's meeting, that goes into pubs, libraries but some schools, hospitals and in stations... and prisons. In some opened slam's scene, one see real tournament with marks, and in others, for a poem, a free glass for the poet...  

 The goal to discover the others

   He lets everyone speak, during a poem, in a real spectacle, without music, instrument or decor. Fishpond of creation,  it ingratiates oneself with these one who are avid for federal actions. 

 Sharing and cultural diversity

    In favour of oral poetic free expression of a value judgement,the slam narrator of our association says that speaking and writing are actions that we must encourage... Everyone is important and has the right to be listened by all.

ARTIST : NINA KIBUANDA
 Former rapper, his love of theater and poesy leads him into the scene for spectacles of slam.

 From 2000,he began the animation of this form of poesy as instructor towards children, teenagers and adults in schools, highschools, in quarters, universities, libraries...(Pays de la Loire and paris' region), for JEUNES AFRICAINS DE FRANCE, and in partnership with TRAIN DE VIE and UNIVERSALISAPO.He drives the shows on of slam in l'ENTREPONT for the CLAVIM (structure of Issy-les-moulineaux) and does performance in quarters of Breil and the "centre interculturelde documentation of Nantes. i

 When we ask him : "Why slam?" He answers : "I listen to the others, exchange, to share our emotions... I am in love in words, they are our cry - there is no measure to the measure of words."
